Inspired by a design of a mountain man in South Dakota and his many unique uses of weapons of war, deemed Trench Art, and the sailor ember lighters, we created this Tinder Wick Ember Tube that uses 100% cotton wrapped cord within a 30.06 brass that was fired out of our 1945 M1 Garand.

Essentially, this device works by creating a tiny source of char cloth that can catch a spark and make an ember for fire. The brass casing and cab keep the char from disintegrating in your kit, so you know it will be there when you need it.

Like most things we produce, each item is unique, handmade, and in constant evolution, meaning what you buy today will be even better in the future as production continues.
